The Christmas (Grinch) feeling and my Christmas wishing list

So it's getting closer to Christmas, and people are doing their Christmas shopping, have put their Christmas lights up outside, got the stars in the windows. I've done the same thing, got huge big light balls in my windows, Christmas curtains, table cloths and have got little angels lying around everywhere. But where is the Christmas feeling?

They started selling Chocolate Santa Clauses in October, just like last year. I think the feeling of a too early Chrsitmas is still stuck in me, and I'm not yet prepared to write my Christmas wishing list or get the special CD out, the one I listen to every year. Maybe I'll sit down tomorrow to watch Miracle in 34th street?

They've put up a lovely Christmas tree in the cantina in my school.
They're wearing their red and white Christmas hats, and I feel like the Grinch.

I've been asked several times; what would I like for Christmas,
and I've had absolutely no idea, though I thought I'd make a list
tonight, so I could show it around tomorrow.

  1. I want socks. Preferably warm ones, but any will do, as I'm always stuck with two different ones, specially the days when it matters, and I know that people will be looking at my socks.
  2. ...
That's extremely disappointing. I could only think of one thing... And to be quite honest...
Socks aren't really what I want after all.
I'm sure all my matching socks are in the house somewhere...

My goodness.

It sounds like maybe you have the things you need. Do you like chocolate? That's what I would ask for. :o)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Sounds like my Christmas list, where the three prominent items were socks, underwear and duvet sheets. I miss the days of Transformers and Action Men. They were fun to play with on Christmas day.
